Message from ESGE

Dear Colleague,

ESGE Days 2025 will take place April 3 – 5, 2025 in the beautiful Spanish city of Barcelona, and augmented via a state-of-the-art digital platform. It’s an important event in the GI endoscopy calendar with a wide range of opportunities for learning on an international scale. As a Scientific Partner society we have played an important part in creating the programme and as our members, we would appreciate your support in submitting abstracts and representing our country and society. The official abstract submission deadline of November 12, 2024 is much earlier this year, so please add it to your schedules.

The congress highly values the contributions made by researchers, and the benefits offered to abstract submitters include:

• Presentation of the best abstracts in the plenary session
• Publication of all accepted abstracts in the journal Endoscopy with the highest Impact Factor (11.5) of any journal dedicated to GI endoscopy
• Various presentation modalities offering maximum interaction between speakers and delegates both in person and online
• Lasting international exposure to your work via our three month on-demand period on our state-of-the-art digital platform

In addition, both the amount of travel grants we are offering, and their value, are being increased. Up to 100 grants of €650 (international rate) and €350 (local rate) to the best abstracts from presenting authors (40 years of age and under) will be awarded.

Finally, please note that all ESGE members (as well as SEED members, the local Spanish society) will be eligible for a one-week deadline extension, via a dedicated URL which will be sent to them directly, until November 19, 2024.
