Call for papers: DEN Special Issue 2022 “NEGATIVE DATA in ENDOSCOPY”

The submissions were closed on 1 Jul 2021.

Thank you very much for your contributions.

It is our great pleasure to announce you that Digestive Endoscopy (DEN) is publishing Special Issue entitled “CONTROVERSY and NEGATIVE DATA in ENDOSCOPY” in 2022. To collect excellent Reviews and Original Articles for the issue, DEN publicly solicits submissions under the theme of “NEGATIVE DATA in ENDOSCOPY. Interested?

Our NEGATIVE DATA ARTICLE means a clinical study, which shows a counterpart or competing result against an apparently well-known clinical question. DEN believes NEGATIVE DATA ARTICLES remain unpublished because of presumably less significant clinical impact.

We are looking for any topics related to endoluminal diagnosis and intervention for GI tract and HBP disorders.

Deadline for the submissions is 30 June 2021.

Please make sure to mention that the manuscript is for the Special Issue 2022: CONTROVERSY and NEGATIVE DATA in ENDOSCOPY in your cover letter when you submit your manuscript.

The submitted manuscript will go through a peer-review process as usual. The acceptance criteria for all manuscripts are solely based on the quality, novelty and originality of the research, its relevance to our readership and scientific merit. While we cannot guarantee, if your manuscript is accepted, we will make every attempt to make it available online within one week of acceptance.

Please also note that even if your manuscript is accepted in early 2021, it will still be included in Special Issue 2022 (scheduled to be published in Jan 2022). However, the article will be available online at Wiley Online Library much earlier than its issue publication (see “Early View” article page) and you can enjoy significant benefit of free access setting!

An important benefit of the submissions is that, in case of acceptance, they will be published as “free access” articles . We believe that this will increase the visibility of your contribution and possibly lead to more citations of your important research.
