Dr. Horst Neuhaus was awarded JGES International Honorary Membership in the Board of Councilors’ meeting on May 31, 2019. In recognition to the contribution to JGES, a commemorative plaque was given to Dr. Neuhaus, and also to Dr. Guido Costamagna and Dr. Robert H. Hawes, who were awarded JGES International Honorary Membership in 2018, from Prof. Hisao Tajiri, Past President of JGES and Prof. Haruhiro Inoue, President of JGES in Presidential Dinner on June 1. In the awarding ceremony, the videos of live demonstration by new JGES International Honorary Members were screened, and they brought additional excitement to the party.
